Pollack fillet

Many are familiar with pollack - also called coalfish - from fish fingers, but this fish has a lot more to offer. In contrast to the other members of the same family it has a particularly piquant and distinctive taste. Its habitat includes Norway, Iceland and the Faroe islands. The NORDSEE fillets come primarily from catches off the north Atlantic coast.

 

Preparation method: fried, steamed, oven cooked
Accompaniment recommendations: Potatoes, potato salad, rice, vegetables, NORDSEE tartar sauce
Drink recommendations: dry white wine e.g. Entre deux Mers from NORDSEE or a cold pils
